The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,577.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Collins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning - Boulogne in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 29,290.97).
