Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,445.00 (€ 5,171.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by William Claxton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Steve McQueen in his Jaguar XK55, Hollywood was auctioned for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,239.24).
