The work William Buelow Gould (1803-1853) by William Buelow Gould was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in March 2005. It achieved a price of AUD 10,755.00 (€ 6,584.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William Buelow Gould; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life sold at auction in March 2005 with the realized price of AUD 16,730.00 (€ 10,242.59).

Die Arbeit William Buelow Gould (1803-1853) von William Buelow Gould kam im März 2005 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 10.755,00 (€ 6.584,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von William Buelow Gould; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Still Life im März 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von AUD 16.730,00 (€ 10.242,59).
