It achieved a price of AUD 10,755.00 (€ 6,584.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William Buelow Gould; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Still Life sold at auction in March 2005 with the realized price of AUD 16,730.00 (€ 10,242.59).
