This artwork by William Blake achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2014. In the Old Master & British Drawings auction, the work Two Studies Of A Baby’S Head, Possibly Hannah Or Elizabeth Ann Linnell sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,189.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Blake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Gambols Of Ghosts According With Their Affections Previous To The Final Judgement in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 722,500.00 (€ 531,875.74).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Gambols Of Ghosts According With Their Affections Previous To The Final Judgement im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 722.500,00 (€ 531.875,74).
