Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Illustrations To The Book Of Job (Bindman 627-632, 634-637, 641-643, 645-646) by William Blake was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,345.13) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Blake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Gambols Of Ghosts According With Their Affections Previous To The Final Judgement in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 722,500.00 (€ 531,875.74).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Gambols Of Ghosts According With Their Affections Previous To The Final Judgement im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 722.500,00 (€ 531.875,74).
