Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,189.88). Admittedly, works by William Bishop have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Battle of Trafalgar, 21st October, 1805 - H.M.S. Victory's starboard side under fire from Rédoubtable in May 2004 with an auction result of GBP 11,950.00 (€ 17,929.40).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.189,88) einen neuen Besitzer.
