Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work By the farmhouse by Willem Weissenbruch was sold in the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,040.00. Admittedly, works by Willem Weissenbruch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moored shrimp-fishing vessels in the estuary of the 'Oude Rijn', Katwijk aan Zee in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 19,975.00 (€ 9,168.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit By the farmhouse von Willem Weissenbruch wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Weissenbruch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moored shrimp-fishing vessels in the estuary of the 'Oude Rijn', Katwijk aan Zee im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 19.975,00 (€ 9.168,15).
