Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Couple by Willem van Konijnenburg for EUR 350.00. This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem van Konijnenburg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rituele dans: a ritual dance in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Couple von Willem van Konijnenburg für EUR 350,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem van Konijnenburg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rituele dans: a ritual dance im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
