Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,787.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Willem van Bemmel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work A mountainous landscape with horseman on a track at sunset; and A mountainous river landscape with horsemen on a rocky path at dawn was auctioned for EUR 13,750.00.
