Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sawah landscape at sunset by Willem Imandt was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2008. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Willem Imandt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded mountainesque landscape with Waringin trees in September 2006 with an auction result of EUR 10,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sawah landscape at sunset von Willem Imandt kam im September 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Imandt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A wooded mountainesque landscape with Waringin trees im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.800,00.
