Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Willem Imandt could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures auction, the work River Landscape changed hands for EUR 875.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Imandt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A wooded mountainesque landscape with Waringin trees in September 2006 with an auction result of EUR 10,800.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem Imandt konnte im September 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit River Landscape für EUR 875,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Imandt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A wooded mountainesque landscape with Waringin trees im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.800,00.
