Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Willem Hussem was sold in the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willem Hussem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Willem Hussem wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willem Hussem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.550,00.
