The work Composition by Willem Hussem was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. It achieved a price of EUR 10,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Hussem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 35,550.00.

Die Arbeit Composition von Willem Hussem kam im März 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Hussem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 35.550,00 versteigert wurde.
