This artwork by Willem Hussem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2012. In the A European Corporate Collection auction, the work Abstract composition sold for EUR 10,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Hussem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 35,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem Hussem erzielte im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A European Corporate Collection wurde die Arbeit Abstract composition für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Hussem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Cirkel Met Verticalen beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 35.550,00 versteigert wurde.
