In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A Fuchsia, Roses, Chrysantheum, Holly And Other Flowers In A Terra Cotta Vase, On A Marble Ledge by Willem Hekking I. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,750.00 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Willem Hekking I; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Eight Watercolours Of Fruits, Vegetables And Nuts sold at auction in July 2017 with the realized price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,066.25).

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Fuchsia, Roses, Chrysantheum, Holly And Other Flowers In A Terra Cotta Vase, On A Marble Ledge von Willem Hekking I zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.750,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Willem Hekking I; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Eight Watercolours Of Fruits, Vegetables And Nuts im Juli 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.066,25).
