Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work French grapes; Apricot plums; Green grapes; and Two peaches on a branch by Willem Hekking I for GBP 2,232.50 (€ 3,612.13). This price was achieved in the auction The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Old Master Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Hekking I - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eight Watercolours Of Fruits, Vegetables And Nuts, which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,066.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit French grapes; Apricot plums; Green grapes; and Two peaches on a branch von Willem Hekking I für GBP 2.232,50 (€ 3.612,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Dr Anton C.R.Dreesmann Collection Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Hekking I mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eight Watercolours Of Fruits, Vegetables And Nuts beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.066,25) versteigert wurde.
