Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Willem George Frederik Jansen could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers changed hands for EUR 5,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Willem George Frederik Jansen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2007 by the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers at EUR 9,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willem George Frederik Jansen konnte im Oktober 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wechselte die Arbeit A Shell Fisher In The Breakers für EUR 5.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
