In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A Horsedrawn Cart On A Country Lane sold for EUR 4,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem George Frederik Jansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Shell Fisher In The Breakers, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 9,600.00.
