Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dutch Tea Time by Willem Elisa Roelofs was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Elisa Roelofs - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A summer bouquet, which sold at auction in June 2002 for EUR 5,377.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dutch Tea Time von Willem Elisa Roelofs kam im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Elisa Roelofs mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A summer bouquet beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für EUR 5.377,50 versteigert wurde.
