Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Angel by Will Mentor for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,120.67). This price was achieved in the auction Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Will Mentor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Don Giovanni Moments After Killing The Commandant, Second Performance in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,861.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Angel von Will Mentor für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.120,67) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Will Mentor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Don Giovanni Moments After Killing The Commandant, Second Performance im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.861,64).
