Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Venetian scene by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,477.51). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 12,069.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Venetian scene von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.477,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2000 für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 12.069,31) versteigert wurde.
