The work Venetian canal scene by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019. The auction ended at the price of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,808.51), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm von Gegerfelt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 7,050.00 (€ 12,069.31).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Venetian canal scene von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.808,51) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm von Gegerfelt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A market on the edge of the lagoon, Venice beobachtet, die im April 2000 für GBP 7.050,00 (€ 12.069,31) versteigert wurde.
