Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A busy harbour in Normandy by Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen was sold in the Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 25,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hiver: a winter landscape with figures near a fishermans house in October 2002 with an auction result of EUR 101,575.00.

Die Arbeit A busy harbour in Normandy von Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 25.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hiver: a winter landscape with figures near a fishermans house im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 101.575,00.
