Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2007 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Ceremonial barges moored on a Dutch waterway by Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,013.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hiver: a winter landscape with figures near a fishermans house in October 2002 with an auction result of EUR 101,575.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ceremonial barges moored on a Dutch waterway von Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.013,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wynand Johannes Joseph Nuyen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hiver: a winter landscape with figures near a fishermans house im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 101.575,00.
