The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Weng Tonghe was worth HKD 98,400.00 (€ 11,899.62) to a buyer in October this year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Weng Tonghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 80,748.87).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Weng Tonghe war einem Käufer im Oktober diesen Jahres HKD 98.400,00 (€ 11.899,62) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Weng Tonghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 80.748,87).
