Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Weng Tonghe was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 7,255.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Weng Tonghe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 80,748.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Weng Tonghe wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 7.255,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Weng Tonghe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 80.748,87).
