Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rock by Weng Shouqi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 18,900.00 (€ 2,243.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Weng Shouqi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Various Subjects in April 2012 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,833.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rock von Weng Shouqi kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 18.900,00 (€ 2.243,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Weng Shouqi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.833,59).
