Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy In Running-Script by Weng Fanggang was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 129,800.00 (€ 14,727.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Weng Fanggang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diamond Sutra In Regular Script in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 175,266.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running-Script von Weng Fanggang wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 129.800,00 (€ 14.727,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Weng Fanggang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diamond Sutra In Regular Script im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 175.266,40).
