The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Weng Fanggang was worth HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,371.43) to a buyer in October 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Weng Fanggang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diamond Sutra In Regular Script in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 175,266.40).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Weng Fanggang war einem Käufer im Oktober 2018 HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.371,43) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Weng Fanggang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diamond Sutra In Regular Script im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 175.266,40).
