The work Calligraphy After Mi Fu by Weng Fanggang was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The auction ended at the price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 114,298.52), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Other works by Weng Fanggang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2017 the work Diamond Sutra In Regular Script was auctioned for USD 187,500.00 (€ 175,266.40).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy After Mi Fu von Weng Fanggang wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 114.298,52) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Weng Fanggang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2017 die Arbeit Diamond Sutra In Regular Script für USD 187.500,00 (€ 175.266,40) versteigert.
