It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,650.00 (€ 90,960.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Old St. Paul'S Cathedral, London, Seen From The East is the most expensive artwork by Wenceslaus Hollar that we have observed at auctions so far.
