A top price for Wen Dian
The work Study in a Village by a River by Wen Dian was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,140,000.00 (€ 326,210.69). With this result, Study in a Village by a River is even the most expensive work of art by Wen Dian that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Wen Dian
Die Arbeit Study in a Village by a River von Wen Dian wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.140.000,00 (€ 326.210,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Study in a Village by a River sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wen Dian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
