Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mount Huang by Wei Zixi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 31,712.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wei Zixi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mount Huang In Clouds, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 84,000.00 (€ 85,780.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mount Huang von Wei Zixi kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 31.712,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wei Zixi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mount Huang In Clouds beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 84.000,00 (€ 85.780,43) versteigert wurde.
