Artwork auctioned at 11 times the upper estimate price
The work Landscapes by Wei Zixi was worth HKD 552,000.00 (€ 70,736.46) to a buyer in October last year. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wei Zixi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mount Huang In Clouds sold at auction in April this year with the realized price of HKD 84,000.00 (€ 85,780.43).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wei Zixi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mount Huang In Clouds im April diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 85.780,43).
