Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Spring by Wei Zhaotao. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,463.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Wei Zhaotao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2000 the work Landscape was auctioned for HKD 64,625.00 (€ 9,763.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring von Wei Zhaotao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.463,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wei Zhaotao konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2000 die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 64.625,00 (€ 9.763,05) versteigert.
