A top price for Wei Liu - as previously expected
The work You Like Me? Why Not! by Wei Liu was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 600,000.00 – 900,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 625,000.00 (€ 72,098.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, You Like Me? Why Not! is the most expensive artwork by Wei Liu that we have observed at auctions so far.
