Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Business Man by Wei Liu was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in April 2015. The price achieved of CNY 33,900.00 (€ 4,895.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wei Liu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work You Like Me? Why Not! in April 2014 with an auction result of CNY 625,000.00 (€ 72,098.05).

Die Arbeit Business Man von Wei Liu kam im April 2015 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 33.900,00 (€ 4.895,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 28.000,00 – 38.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wei Liu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit You Like Me? Why Not! im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 625.000,00 (€ 72.098,05).
