Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scharf by Wassily Kandinsky was sold in the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 630,000.00 (€ 733,211.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wassily Kandinsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bild Mit Weissen Linien (Painting With White Lines) in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 33,008,750.00 (€ 37,590,807.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scharf von Wassily Kandinsky wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 630.000,00 (€ 733.211,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wassily Kandinsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bild Mit Weissen Linien (Painting With White Lines) im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 33.008.750,00 (€ 37.590.807,66).
