Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Field: Linkage by Warren Rohrer for USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,686.25). This price was achieved in the auction Living With Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Warren Rohrer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled No. 3, which sold at auction in July 2016 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,954.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Field: Linkage von Warren Rohrer für USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.686,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Warren Rohrer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled No. 3 beobachtet, die im Juli 2016 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.954,15) versteigert wurde.
