The work Summer Rain by Wang Yuanshui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. It achieved a price of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,566.05), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Wang Yuanshui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Wang Hui in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,349.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Summer Rain von Wang Yuanshui kam im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.566,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yuanshui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Hui im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.349,62).
