Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Fishing In Spring Streams by Wang Yuanshui. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,625.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yuanshui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape After Wang Hui, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,349.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing In Spring Streams von Wang Yuanshui zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.625,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yuanshui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Hui beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.349,62) versteigert wurde.
