Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wang Yuanshui was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2013. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,413.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yuanshui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Wang Hui in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,349.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wang Yuanshui wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.413,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yuanshui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Wang Hui im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.349,62).
