Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape Of Yushan by Wang Yuanqi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 1,215,000.00 (€ 1,045,431.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Yuanqi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Inspired by Huang Gongwang in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 48,475,000.00 (€ 5,219,068.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape Of Yushan von Wang Yuanqi kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.215.000,00 (€ 1.045.431,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yuanqi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Inspired by Huang Gongwang im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 48.475.000,00 (€ 5.219.068,33).
