Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wang Yin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Two Works) sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,365.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Yin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Yin erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Two Works) für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.365,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17).
