Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in Shanghai held the auction FIRST OPEN | Shanghai, which included the work Flowers by Wang Yin. The price achieved of CNY 960,000.00 (€ 129,261.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 750,000.00 – 1,100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2021 for HKD 3,840,000.00 (€ 411,132.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in Shanghai die Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Wang Yin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 960.000,00 (€ 129.261,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 750.000,00 – 1.100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2021 für HKD 3.840.000,00 (€ 411.132,17) versteigert wurde.
