Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Wang Xijing was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings auction at POLY in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 212,400.00 (€ 26,885.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Xijing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Yu Youren in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Wang Xijing wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.400,00 (€ 26.885,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Xijing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Yu Youren im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
