Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year POLY held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings, which included the work Gathering by Wang Xijing. The price achieved of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 37,340.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Xijing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Yu Youren in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gathering von Wang Xijing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 37.340,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Xijing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Yu Youren im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
