Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soulmate by Wang Xijing was auctioned at POLY in Macau in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 28,758.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Xijing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Yu Youren in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soulmate von Wang Xijing kam im November 2016 bei POLY in Macau zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 28.758,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Xijing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Yu Youren im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
