Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scholar and Cranes by Wang Xijing was auctioned at POLY in Macau in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 28,758.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wang Xijing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Yu Youren in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scholar and Cranes von Wang Xijing kam im November 2016 bei POLY in Macau zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 28.758,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Xijing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Yu Youren im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
