Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year POLY held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings, which included the work Portrait of Zheng Ban-qiao by Wang Xijing. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,961.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xijing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Yu Youren in April this year with an auction result of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 183,815.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Zheng Ban-qiao von Wang Xijing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.961,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xijing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Yu Youren im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 183.815,22).
